Does this replace my storefront or checkout?

No. Ocliby creates a transaction entry point outside the storefront. Your commerce connector still handles native order and payment behavior where supported.

Does it charge customers instantly?

Not universally. Saved-card and off-session flows depend on platform, gateway, consent, and compliance behavior. Where instant repeat purchase is not supported, the session can continue through native checkout.
